Dr. Grignol is a Surgical Oncologist with expertise in the management of soft tissue sarcomas of both retroperitoneum and extremity as well as treating breast disease. She practices at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center.
Dr. Grignol earned her M.D. from Wright State University. She then completed her general surgery training at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, as well as a research postdoctoral fellowship in tumor immunology at The Ohio State University. She subsequently completed specialty training in Comple General Surgical Oncology at The Ohio State University under the mentorship of Dr. Raphael Pollock. She was recruited to stay on as faculty at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Complex General Surgical Oncology and is an active member of the Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS), American College of Surgeons , Society of Surgical Oncology, and several cooperative groups.
Dr. Grignol’s research interests include improvement in quality of care for cancer patients through collaborative groups and the development of biomarkers for early detection and to monitor treatment of sarcoma.
