The authors from a single institution evaluated the predictive accuracy of previously published prognostic nomograms in a cohort of patients who received preoperative radiotherapy as a standard component of their treatment for primary RPS. They found that preoperative radiation appears to preclude the use of some components of existing prognostic nomograms for primary RPS, particularly with respect to the risk of LR.
