Great single institution study about common complication after retroperitoneal sarcoma surgery. The authors found that delayed gastric emptying is clinically relevant in about a third of patients, it is more often the result of other postoperative complications and increases the length of hospital stay. Patients with larger tumors and more comorbidities are at higher risk.
